CASE:
VIESGO is a Spanish power company located in Cantabria, a geographical area with a high ceráunic index (lightning density).
The company contacted Dinnteco in its search for a solution for its telecommunications centers that suffer constant failures during electrical storms.
ACTION:
1 DDCE is installed in the most affected repeater. The action also has an unexpected positive effect: the telecommunications signal improves instantly.
CONCLUSIONS:
In addition to the cessation of lightning strikes, DDCE is shown to reduce electrical noise by improving the radio spectrum of the signal.
•The installation of the DDCE has improved OCR communications by an average of 10db.
• Some of them were out of service due to lack of communication with the repeater and now all of them are operational. Even others that were saturated now work in an optimal range, a great success.
